If you have a patriotic bone in your body, you must be in Rich Hill on the 4th of July. Rich Hill has one of the most amazing all-American small town fourth of July celabrations in the Nation!

If you have never seen the fourth of July party held in Rich Hill, MO you are really missing out! Rich Hill is one of the few places in America that still allows so many freedoms. And after-all isn't that what the 4th of July is supposed to represent.
Bring your own cooler of beverages, Bring your cigarettes, and bring your fireworks! Bring some lawn chairs and take a seat, the show is about to begin! Since the 4th of July is my wifes mothers birthday and it also happens to be our wedding anniversary we usually head to Rich Hill for the celebration. As our family home is nearby we usually spend the day fishing with the grand-kids and enjoying the outdoors.
After a while we head into Rich Hill to take a walk along the midway at the carnival. People of all walks of life come to Rich Hill for the fair and the fireworks. We get some cotton candy and a coke, head over to the park for some live music and hang out until the fireworks start.
Get involved, many of the spectators bring their own fireworks and set them off during the show. No EPA, no whining tree huggers, just lots of RED, WHITE and BLUE Americans celebrating their freedom and having a good time. Rich Hill ain't full of rich folks, it ain't got a lot of money but it has a lot of patriotism and heartfelt American spirit!
Rich Hill is a true American "Cowboy Town", and I'm proud to be a part of it! When I retire, I'm headed to Rich Hill, where it ain't politically incorrect to LOVE AMERICA!
