Nyhart, Missouri is any little spot that doesn't even appear on many maps. Located in Bates County, MO; Nyhart has only a few houses and of course "The Breaking Wind Ranch". Passing through Nyhart on the gravel road you come to a little bridge, the bridge has a plaque that reads "This Bridge Constructed March 1999 dedicated to Celia Van Gelder"; this commemorates the spot where Celia Van Gelder lost her life.

This is little burg holds a special meaning for me. This is where my Mother died. the old low water crossing is still there, but only a few four-wheelers and some large tractors use it. The new bridge supports the light traffic this road sees.
