Bacon Roses
Does your sweetheart have a hankering for something not so sweet, perhaps chocolates and roses are quite the way to there heart!  Try this recipe on for size. Get all dolled up in your best cooking apron and break out the mini-muffin tin. with a drill or a nail make a small hole in the bottom of each one of the muffin cups. Find a pan that the muffin tin will sit over to catch the drippings.

Curl your bacon up in a tight roll and gently tug the center portion slightly upward to create a rise in the center of the "rose".

Crank up the oven to about 375 and bake until they reach the desired temperature and color. I checked after 15 minutes and they weren't quite done yet so I just kept checking every five minutes or so.

In the meantime you will need some bamboo skewer sticks, I used parsley to fill the vase, provide the greenery and hold the roses in place. I placed the parsley in the vase and then arranged the skewer sticks with the blunt ends up.

Taking your cooked bacon roses from the mini muffin tins place them on the skewer sticks and present your porkulous product to your preferred partner and get ready for some smokin' hot peccadilloes as they devour the feast!

Now you're Makin' Bacon!
